First Review Video of One UI 8 is Released

While Samsung is still struggling to fully roll out One UI 7, the company is already working on One UI 8, which is based on Android 16. Recently, the first review video of the early beta version has surfaced online.

A few days ago, we saw the first screenshots of One UI 8, and now there's a video showing the system running on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to the video, the current build looks very similar to One UI 7, but it brings some features that were planned for One UI 7 but never released.

One of the most notable new features is Now Brief. This function was previously available only on the Galaxy S25 series, but with One UI 8, it will now be introduced to older devices as well. Additionally, the camera app now supports log video recording.

Other noticeable changes include the redesigned Quick Share interface, new menu options in the Gallery, and some visual tweaks in the File Manager.

Although the new version may not bring massive changes like One UI 7, it appears to be more stable and feature-rich. That’s why it is expected that One UI 8 won’t face the same delays as its predecessor.
